Lorraine J. Gallagher

Lorraine J. Gallagher lifelong resident of Lowell; 71 LOWELL Lorraine J. (Therrien)(Coimbra) Gallagher, 71, a lifelong Lowell resident, died May 27, at Saints Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Joseph Gallagher, with whom she would have celebrated their Thirteenth Wedding Anniversary on June 5, 2008. A daughter of Jeannette (Mitchell) Therrien of Chelmsford and the late Alfred Therrien, she was born July 18, 1936, in Boston, and was educated in the local schools. She made her lifelong home in Lowell, and was a waitress at the former Palmer Restaurant. Her favorite pastime was to spend time with family and friends, especially her nine grandchildren She also liked camping, Salisbury Beach, traveling, and especially Foxwoods Casino. In addition to her husband, Joseph, and her mother Jeannette, she is survived by three children, Donna Whitney and her husband, Edward, of Lowell, Stephen Coimbra and his wife, Stacy, of Epsom, NH, and Kimberly McGillicuddy and her husband, Daniel, of Lowell; her grandchildren, Justin Whitney, Stephanie Whitney, Nicole Whitney, and Zachery Whitney, all of Lowell, Jonathan Coimbra, Brittany Coimbra, and Tyler Coimbra, all of Epsom, NH, and Jared Coimbra and Madison McGillicuddy, both of Lowell; her brother, Ronald Therrien and his wife, Margaret "Peggy", of Dracut, a stepbrother, David Therrien; a stepsister, Joyce Therrien-Letourneau; a sister-in-law, Florence Cordiero of Dracut; a brother-in-law, Francis Coimbra and his wife, Maureen, of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
