Margaret M. (Murphy) Larmand
of Hudson, Mass; 86

HUDSON, MA -- Margaret M. (Murphy) Larmand, 86, of Hudson, MA, died on Monday, March 14th at Marlboro Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Larmand.

Margaret was born and raised in Belfast, Ireland, daughter of the late William and Martha (McAleavey) Murphy. She attended local schools there and graduated from high School in Belfast. She resided in Hudson for many years and was employed as an Inspector by the former Digital Equipment Corp. in Hudson for many years until her retirement. Margaret was an avid bingo player attending many bingo nights at Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson. She enjoyed knitting and sewing many garments and other items which she gave to family members. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Larmand of Goffstown, New Hampshire, Philip Larmand of Capastrano Beach, California, Donna Graceffa of Maynard, Mass., Brenda Larmand of Peterborough, New Hampshire, Patricia Bunker of Tyngsboro, Mass.; two sisters, Delores Allen of London Ontario, Canada, Rosie Ferris of Belfast, Ireland and her three brothers, William Murphy of Dracut and Philip and Matt Murphy, both of Belfast, Ireland. She was the sister of the late Terrance Murphy. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

LARMAND -- A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 18th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or to the charity of one's choice.

Kevin, Phillip, Patsy, Donna, Brenda, We are all so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was very special and of course a close friend of my mom's for years. We all had a great childhood on Woodrow street. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
