TEWKSBURY - Marie B. Silva, age 90, a resident of Tewksbury for over 15 years, formerly of Malden, passed away at the Blaire House of Tewksbury on Monday, January 7, 2019.

Born in Somerville on September 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Silva and the late Mary (Perry) Silva.

Marie was raised in Somerville, and graduated from Somerville High School.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Bookkeeper.

She was a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and Senior Drop-In-Center.

Marie enjoyed reading, and cross stitch embroidery.

She is survived by her brother, Edwin J. Silva and his wife Joyce (Fullerton) of Wilmington; her niece, Elaine M. MacMullen and her husband Kenneth of Tewksbury; her nephews, Stephen E. Silva and his wife Jaki of Wilmington, and Glenn M. Silva and his wife Jean of New Boston, NH; also five great-nephews and four great-nieces that she adored.

Marie was the sister of the late Alphonse Silva.

SILVA - Family and friends are invited to meet for her graveside service on Monday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Wildwood Cemetery, off Wildwood St., Wilmington. Arrangements entrusted to Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, Tewksbury. www.farmeranddee.com.
