He enjoyed sports and spending time with his teammates. Mr. Lorden enjoyed his family and friends, and was always ready with a helping hand and a kind word. He enjoyed vacationing on the lake and in Florida. He also enjoyed fishing and lifting weights.
Mr. Lorden worked as a heating, ventilation and air-conditiong technician for several area contractors, including Lorden Oil Co. in Ayer, Hamel and McCallister Co., in Burlington and Nissitisit VAC Co., in Pepperell.
Besides his parents, survivors include a sister, Julie A. Lorden of Westford, his paternal grandfather, Timothy J. Lorden Sr. of Pepperell; his girlfriend, Stephanie Merrill of Groton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mickey, Gail and Julie:
You have my deepest sympathy and love. I know that words cannot help at this time. Michael was a wonderful person just like his parents and sister. I loved having Michael in Junior Racquetball he was such a joy to be around he was a very interesting little boy very inquisitive and excited about everything that was going on. I enjoyed the few times I went to his high school football games, he was a leader such an acomplishment and so natural at it. Michael's memory will live on thru his family and friends he touched a lot of lives in such a short time. My prayers and thoughts are with Michael and his family at this time.
Love,

Lorden Family,
Mike was a great person. On and off the field he made an impact on everyone around him. On the field, his intensity and ability made all of us work harder and play better. Playing football with him for two years was truly an honor. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Lorden Family,
Mike was the ideal teammate. He was a great athlete and a fearless competitor who always put forward his best effort. But, for all of his accomplishments on the basketball court and football field, of which there are many, I will always remember Mike for the person he was off the court. He was a fun-loving guy who always knew how to make you laugh. He was just a great all around person and he will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Phipps
