LOWELL -- Pamela Abreu passed away on March 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Pam was born in Lowell, MA on July 25, 1959, she was the daughter of Custodio (Custy) and the late Betty (Harrison) Abreu. She was also the step-daughter of the late Emma Abreu.
Pam was the longtime love and partner of Jim Vinas. Pam left behind four children, Crystyn,Jessica, Tyler and Wayne Abreu. She also was a very loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, Jaecob and Jezmyra Lugo, Izaiah Luna, and Ava and Aliyah Carvalho. In addition to her immediate family, Pam was a loving sister to Sheryl and Earl Thompson, and Mike and Maureen Abreu. Pam also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, especially, Tina Rondeau.
Pam was known for her sense of humor, her love of music and her loud personality. In addition to Jim, Pam shared her love with their cat, Fatty.
A private mass was celebrated on March 9th at Saint Michael's Church of Lowell. She will rest forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

My Mom (Mary Abreu; Uncle Custy's sister}& I are so very sorry for the loss of Pam. We were also sorry that we were unable to say our regrets to everyone at the mass. The service was so telling of the love for Pam.

Pamela...one of a kind.She would ask Sheryl,"if Earl isn't treating you right, tell him I'm going to smack him" or "hi dad, cant talk long, I'm out of minutes." Always added life to a party. We miss and love you Pamela. Sheryl and Earl Thompson.
