Pat was a lovely lady and I am saddened to hear of her passing.

To the family of Pat,
I knew Pat for many years. I worked for the Post Office as a sub-of-record rural route carrier in the late seventies and early eighties while working part-time in the public library here in Dunstable. When we would meet, either here at the library where I still work, or about town we would always "catch up" on family and work, and later retirement. Pat was a delightful lady -- so proud of her family, and a truly dedicated postal worker. I will miss her friendship and visits to the library.

Very sincerely,

Margaret Abeyta

Diane, My deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother. I know I only met her a few times, a long time ago, but she really was very nice.

Though I did not know Pat's family personally, I did know Pat as she frequented The Rose of Sharon on a regular basis. I felt, by the way she spoke of her children and her grandson, and her extended family, that I did in fact know them well. Her trips into the store would give insight to her happiness with her family and her love for her friends and the townspeople of Dunstable. Her visits to the shop were never short, they may have contained business that she needed to complete, but they would always end up on a personal note. She was a lovely woman to chat with and an exceptional story teller. I will miss her trips into the store and I will miss her expressions of love she always left me with of her family.
May God bless her and keep her. I will miss her.
