To the family of Pat,
I knew Pat for many years. I worked for the Post Office as a sub-of-record rural route carrier in the late seventies and early eighties while working part-time in the public library here in Dunstable. When we would meet, either here at the library where I still work, or about town we would always "catch up" on family and work, and later retirement. Pat was a delightful lady -- so proud of her family, and a truly dedicated postal worker. I will miss her friendship...

Though I did not know Pat's family personally, I did know Pat as she frequented The Rose of Sharon on a regular basis. I felt, by the way she spoke of her children and her grandson, and her extended family, that I did in fact know them well. Her trips into the store would give insight to her happiness with her family and her love for her friends and the townspeople of Dunstable.
