Patricia Perry Obituary

Dracut

Patricia A (Mullen) Perry, age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday July 31, 2023 at her Dracut home surrounded by loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger J. Perry for 53 years, who passed away in 2015.

She was born in Lowell on September 7, 1940, a daughter of the late John and Irene (Silva) Mullen. Patricia was a resident of Dracut for over 50 years.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a cafeteria worker for the Lowell and Dracut school systems for many years. Earlier in her life, she worked at Hathaway Shirt in Lowell.

Patricia was the life of the party. She always enjoyed singing karaoke and dancing to "Black Velvet". Whether she was up at camp or at family parties, you could always find her, just listen for that infectious snort. Her witty sense of humor and dirty jokes will stick with everyone she ever met. She never missed an opportunity to show off her tattoo either. Playing cornhole, something she loved along with Pokeno and her Tuesday foot rubs while doing word searches. Being dedicated to her family was something she was made for. The open doors at the house were flooded with nieces, nephews and grandkids. Watching and caring for them were some of her most prized years. She will always be remembered in our hearts as the most devoted wife and loving mother, Godmummy, favorite aunt and best grams.

She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Morasse and her husband Butch and their children, Jared Morasse and his wife Tiffany and Kyle Morasse and his fiancée Tammy Leclerc; her son Roger Perry, Jr. and his wife Marilyn and their children, Katlyn Bulu and her husband Andrew, Roger Perry, Tara Chrigstrom, Katy Perez and her husband Elvin and Charlie Palmer; her great grandchildren, Melody, Savannah, Raelyn, Gavin, Brandan, Alex, Alani and Sofia; her foster grandchildren, Sandra, Alex and Momo; a brother, William Mullen and his wife Mary Jane. She was the sister-in-law to Hubert "Pete" Perry, Claire Nutt, William Perry, Eileen Rousseau and Rita Gagnon. Also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond Mullen, John Mullen, Jr., Maureen Mullen, Mary Cox and Barbara Desrochers.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia's life at the M. R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Saturday morning, August 5 from 9am until 11am. A prayer service will take place at the Funeral Home at 11 o'clock followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate - Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.laurinfuneralhome.com
