Pauline Lussier Obituary

DRACUT -- Pauline A. Lussier, 72, a resident of Dracut who worked at a electronics company and was a Korean War veteran, died Thursday, April 20, in Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell.

She was born in Lowell, Oct. 8, 1933, daughter of the late Leo V. and Claire D. (Marquis) Lussier. She received her education in Lowell schools.

An honorably discharged veteran, Miss Lussier served in the Women's Army Corps during the Korean War.

Before retiring, Miss Lussier was employed for many years in the accounting department at Sylvania Electronics in Waltham. After that, she worked as a personal caretaker.

In her free time, she was an avid artist. She also enjoyed spending time with animals, especially her dog, Boomer, woodworking and traveling.

She is survived by four brothers and sisters, Robert Lussier and his wife, Emma of Haverhill, Dorothy Nordstrom of Dracut, Gerald Lussier and his companion, Martha Core, both of Dracut, and Jackie Cardoza and her husband, Raymond of Dracut; two sisters-in-law, Robin Lussier and Nancy Lussier, both of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Victor, Ronald and Edward Lussier, sister-in-law of the late Ronald Nordstrom; and aunt of the late James Lussier.

To All of Pauline's Family:

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you-- I feel so privelaged to have known this courageous woman-even if it was for just a short time.I'll miss her and Boomer- laughing at their antics! A true soldier she was!
