of Barrington, RI; 84

BARRINGTON, RI -- Pearl D. Scagos, 84, of Barrington, RI, died peacefully on March 17, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of George A. Scagos.

Born in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late William and Doris (Wakefield) Landry, she lived in Barrington, RI for 64 years.

Mrs. Scagos was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, and solving crossword puzzles.

Besides her husband of 61 years, she is survived by two sons, Michael D. Scagos of Riverside, RI, and Richard P. Scagos of Barrington, RI; two brothers, Robert Landry of Punta Gorda, FL, and David Landry of Florida; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

SCAGOS -- Her funeral will be private. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Pearl's memory to The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 would be deeply appreciated. Arrangements are by the W.
