Peter 'Pappas' Pappaconstantinou, 77, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, December 12, 2022.

A son of the late Charles and the late Helen (Parevelotis) Pappaconstantinou, he was born January 3, 1945, in Lowell. He was raised and educated in Tewksbury, graduating from Tewksbury High School. He served his country with the United States Army from 1965 to 1967.

Mr. Pappaconstantinou made his home in Tewksbury, and was a member of the Tyngsboro Sportsmen's Club. He was an outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Peter was a kind, giving and generous man. A friend to all, his legacy will remain the countless lives he touched over the years. Above all though, his devotion as a father is beyond description, he was the best father anyone could have ever hoped for.

His work ethic is another quality of his life that will be remembered eternally. He was hard working and dedicated regardless of what career path his life took. He started his career in his family business, "Paradise Donut" in Lowell. He then went on to own and operate the iconic Lowell institution "Eat A Donut" from the 1970's until the mid 1980's. Astoundingly, he finished his professional career not with another bakery, but as the owner and operator of Northeast Cycle Salvage in Tewksbury until his well earned and deserved retirement in 2010.

His survivors include his loving daughter, Nicole Pappaconstantinou and her fiancee, Jason Jarvis, of Lowell; his two siblings, Cynthia Pappaconstantinou of Florida and Rita Pappaconstantinou of Marshfield, MA; and several nieces and nephews and their families. He is also survived by many close friends.

He was predeceased by his siblings Patricia Pappaconstantinou, Stephen Pappaconstantinou, Vasilios Pappaconstantinou, Agnes Sager, Bessie Shilensky, Eufrosyne Dokos, Sotiros Pappaconstantinou and Priscilla Harmon.

You are invited to his visitation on Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, 978-452-6361. On Saturday, his funeral will begin at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, his funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis Street, Lowell at 10 a.m. Followed by procession for burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
