Philip Robinson Obituary
Phil was a software consultant and Certified Public Accountant who specialized in the construction industry. His cleverness and wit always got a reaction - a chuckle or a groan, often both! An avid Boston sports fan and lover of progressive metal music, Phil reveled in eliminating friends and family in his biweekly Texas Hold 'Em league. He enjoyed traveling, and was happiest spending time at home with family, friends, and pets. He fulfilled his many roles and responsibilities with aplomb and humor, and brightened so many lives.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Philip's name to www.childrenshospital.org/ways-to-help

I was so sorry to hear this. Phil was a classmate and hallmate at Holy Cross. We only hung out here and there, but it was always enjoyable - and then again at homecomings to the Hill. He was indeed funny (still chucklilng about the last conversation we had) and also very sharp. You could have a lot of different kinds of good conversations with Phil. We played a little chess too - a shared hobby. I agree with those recalling how often he was cheery and friendly to people. One of the good ones. Rest in peace, pal.

I'm so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He was a friend from our HC days and I hoped we'd reconnect one of these days. He was a terrific guy, always ready with a smile and a joke--he will be missed. Godspeed Philba.
