Phyllis S. Reppucci
Widow of Anthony J. Reppucci MD

LOWELL -- Phyllis (Stickney) Reppucci, age 93, a longtime resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at her home, following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Anthony J. Reppucci, a prominent physician in the Lowell area.

Phyllis was born in Marblehead, MA on March 9, 1919, a daughter of the late Henry E. and Helen P. (Barrett) Stickney. She was educated in the Salem School System.

She was an active golfer and bowler in leagues at the Vesper Country Club for many years. She was also an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. Phyllis greatly enjoyed traveling, especially her many trips to her home in Florida, Europe, and Hawaii. She loved to read, cook, and care for and be with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Ann Reppucci RN of Salt Lake City, Utah, Anthony J. Reppucci Jr. and his wife, Marianne LePersonne-Reppucci of Bousval, Belgium, Attorney David K. Reppucci of Lowell, MA, Paul Reppucci of Groton, MA, Louisa J. Reppucci of San Francisco, CA, Bruce H. Reppucci and his wife, Maryellen Reppucci of Lowell, MA, and Attorney Anna R. Vergados and her husband, James R. Vergados of Lowell, MA.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Annemarie Reppucci, Anthony B. Reppucci, Johanna C. Vergados and Sophia M. Vergados, all of Lowell, and Michaela F. Reppucci of Groton, MA. She was also the great-grandmother to Arthur Capelle and Victoria Capelle of Liege, Belgium; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was also the mother of the late Geoffrey M. Reppucci of Lowell, and grandmother of the late Dominic Reppucci, Sophie Capelle and Edouard Capelle.

REPPUCCI -- Family and friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the ARCHAMBAULT FUNERAL HOME, 309 Pawtucket St., Lowell. Funeral Wednesday morning with her funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Michael Church, Lowell. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Phyllis may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Funeral Director, Victor J. Archambault Jr. (978-459-9315).
