Raymond Pata Obituary

Brooksville

Raymond Pata Jr., left this world peacefully on September 26th, 2022 with his daughter by his side.

Ray was born to Jilda and Raymond Pata Sr. on March 3, 1947. He was raised in Taunton, Massachusetts where he spent his childhood. After graduating high school, he briefly attended Southern Massachusetts University. He enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1966 and served until 1972, rising to rank of E6. He spent his career working in Information Technology from 1969 until his retirement in 2012.

He enjoyed the laid-back way of life in Maine and moved to there to be close to his daughter and grandchildren who were the light of his life. He spent his retirement years in Maine chasing his grandchildren's sporting events and volunteering for any community event that he could find.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Pata; his daughter Rebecca Pata Gray and her husband Gerald Gray; his grandchildren Lillian Pata Gray and Jack Raymond Gray; and many dear brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Brooksville Free Public Library, PO Box 38, Brooksville, ME 04617.
