Robert Campbell (of Andover) passed away July 30, 2018, at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston with his loving wife, Linda, of 41 years by his side. He was son of the late Joseph and Margaret (McNamara) Campbell. Bob is survived by his sisters: Mary and her husband, F. Michael Graham, Patricia and her husband, John Boumil, and Margaret, wife of the late Richard Melanson, all of Dracut; his sister-in-law, Joanne Campbell of Dracut, Anita Campbell, of Lowell, and brother-in-law, Michael Romanowski of Dracut. He was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph, John, Walter, and James, and sister-in-law, Bernadette, and his sister, Katherine Romanowski. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Joan (Hall), wife of his late father-in-law, Leonard Crouch; his brother-in-law, Kenneth, and his wife Carrie Crouch of North Andover, and sister-in-law, Sandra (Crouch) and her husband, Robert Hartsock, of Bakersfield, California. He leaves many beloved nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces, and his beloved dog, Oscar.

In earlier years, Bob worked in Purchasing at Raytheon Co. and later was appointed by the Governor as Asst. Clerk Magistrate of the District Court of Lawrence, Criminal Division. He also worked for paving companies for several years prior to his retirement. He was educated at Dracut High School where he was co-captain of his football team, and Fitchburg College.

Bob's greatest love was his family and friends.

CAMPBELL - Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd Street, North Andover, MA 01845. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 10 AM at St. Michael Church in North Andover. Burial will follow in Richardson Cemetery in Dracut, MA.
