Roopchand Israni Obituary

Roopchand Israni of Lowell; 93 LOWELL Roopchand Israni, 93, of Lowell, died Saturday morning January 24, 2009 at Willow Manor Healthcare in Lowell. He was the husband of the late Sukhi (Chawla) Israni, who died He was born in Pakistan, January 16, 1916, the son of the late Motiram and the late Gangabai (Chawla) Israni, he was a graduate of Mayo College in India. Before retiring, He was an Electrical Engineer in Pakistan. He is survived by six daughters Ramla Sadarangani, Sharmila Massand, and Bromila Bijlani all of India, Ramola Bijlani of Lowell, Neelam Sadarangani and Maya Bhambani both of India; two sons Lal Israni and Andy Israni both of Lowell; eighteen grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. ISRANI Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 10 A.M. to 12 NOON Tuesday. A Funeral service will be in the Linwood Cemetery Chapel in Haverhill at 1 o'clock. Arrangements by Funeral Directors James F. O'Donnell, Jr. and John W. Crane (978 or 866) 458-8768.
