Words can't express what you mean to me. I wish I could have one more day with you, I love and miss you so much. Rest easy and say hi to papa for me.

February 23, 2015

may you rest with the Lord always

Psalm 16:5-11New International Version (NIV)
5
Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord. with him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful[a] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

I cannot deny that you are gone. am angry that I could not say goodbye or that I did not spend enough time with you. I cannot bargain with God to bring you back. The sadness seems to consume me. I accept that you are part of my heart and I will never forget you. Sleep with the angels my beautiful Aunt Ruth. May we meet again someday.

Mom the road ahead of us is going to be so difficult without you. We are not only your daughters we were your friends. My heart is shattered beyond words. In these last few years , you have trusted me with your life. I am so grateful you had so much Confidence and Love for me. Not a selfish bone in your body, you had so many kids but still opened your heart for so many others. Many times I read these bible quotes but not until now, I see their true meaning, and how much YOU lived up to them. Thank you for loving us, until we see each other again, give dad a kiss and hug for me! Matthew 25-35: For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;

The emptiness of your physical existence will always be a burden on my heart; however the loving memories of our bond as mother and son will never be forgotten, until we reunite in heaven above.
I will miss your birthday cards sent to me every January 14 with all the knowledge a loving mother knows of her son but, I know you will replace these cards with blessings from above.
Love you Mommy!

As Aunt Ruth's first nephew, please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. We will always remember her as a kind, caring, jovial person who always made those around her happy. Above all, she was a great wife, mother and aunt who will be missed by her family and all whose life she touched in her own special way.

I will always cherish my loving mother for the beautiful person that she was to all of us. She was such a sweet, loving, wonderful, kind, caring and gentle soul. She did what she had to do and that was to raise her children. She not only raised 17 of her own she also was there to help us raise ours. She was there for all of her grandchildren from the oldest to the youngest. The memories can go on and on. The children and grandchild and great grand children still talk about her great cooking and baking and all about her playing games, singing, telling jokes, making funny faces, sleep overs, tell stories, rocking them to sleep, and vacationing. My mother always told me that God put us here for a purpose and I believe hers is to be the wonderful mother she was to 17 children and a wonderful grandmother to over 40 and many great and great great grandchildren. She was truly a beautiful angel in disguise. Thank you Mom for being my mother and friend, until we meet again. Your Daugther, Jeanne
