EAST HAMPSTEAD, NH - Ryan C. Crowley, 41, of East Hampstead passed away Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital after suffering a heart attack. Ryan was born in Methuen, a graduate of Central Catholic High School and employed as a Field Technician for Verizon for 13 years. He was a loyal member of IBEW local 2321 union.
Anyone that ever knew Ryan loved him. Family gatherings were filled with his laughter, he lived life to the fullest. Ryan was a committed family man, a loving husband and father who always provided strength, support, and love.
Ryan loved sports. He enjoyed competition whether playing 45's with family and friends or cheering on his beloved Boston sports teams. An avid golfer, he enjoyed playing anytime, especially with the Hickory Hill Golf League. One of his proudest moments was winning third place in the 2008 Robert F. Kennedy golf tournament.
Ryan is survived by his wife Heather (Merrill), his children, Paige (6) and Brayden (3) of East Hampstead, NH; his parents Donna M (Ristem) Homsey and the late Robert Homsey of Salem, NH and David Crowley and his wife Dorothy of Lynnfield; his brother Keith Crowley and wife Christina (Giordano) of Salem, his parents-in-law Robert Merrill and the late Sharon (Kenney) Merrill of Tewksbury, his sister-in-law Bridget (Merrill) Garabedian and her husband Michael of Tewksbury, his nieces Tianna Crowley, Hazel, Jane, and Vera Garabedian and nephew Niko Crowley, his aunt and uncle Terese (Ristem) and Michael Ricupero, his uncle Dan Crowley and his wife Joy.
CROWLEY - Friends and family will be received at visiting hours on Monday June 24, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen. Funeral mass to take place on Tuesday June 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Those who wish to attend are asked to gather directly at the church. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
