Scott,

It is so obvious from reading the entries of your friends that you were a very special young man. You obviously were very interested in helping to comfort and lend support to them. I am so sorry that I did not have the priviledge of knowing you personally but am also so happy for your family that they have such loving memories of your special ways to comfort them. I will make certain that all of your stepcousins in Canada are aware of what a wonderful person you were. I look forward to meeting you when my time comes. God be with you, Scott.

Scott Dumont was the genuinely nice guy that you don't ever find anymore. He could bring a smile to the saddest person...that was part of his charm. I'll never forget the one Christmas he went out and spent all of his tip money from Brighams (which was much more than any of the rest of us made because he could charm all the 14 year old girls) on gifts for his close freinds. He got matching braclets for his buddies...and i just thought that was one of the sweetest, most sentimental things...he always thought of others and knew exactly how to bring a smile to your face. I just found out about this tragedy today, 3 weeks later, and I was shocked by the news. A life so young and precious taken away so soon. My heart goes out to all of Scott's close freinds and family. Scott you were truly a "superman" to all who loved you and you will be greatly missed.

Brighams hasnt been the same without you Scott and now the world isnt the same without you either. When my friends and I went to Brighams for icecream, You were always there to greet us with a hug or a smile, you sat with us, told us stories, took pictures with us, gave us discounts and even knew exactly what we wanted. You werent just our waiter anymore, you were our friend,I'll always be greatful for that.I still remember when you were having a bad day and we showed up to see you and you said that your day wasnt bad anymore.WE LOVE YOU, your the worlds superman.

I knew Scott since middle school and everyday that I talked with him he seemed full of life. He was one of those people that always had a smile on his face and that made everyone around him have one too.

Scott, I am so sorry that I could not make it last night. I wanted to!! You were someone that I could talk to if anything was bothering me. You always listened and offered advise. You were and still are a great friend!!

RIP Buddy...see you up there...

When I met Scott in 6th grade on the bus, he had long silky hair that the girls went nuts over. He always had the sweetest face. And he was the sweetest spirit. Not many people take the time to write beautiful notes to their friends reminding them that they are appreciated and not forgotten. Not many people dedicate themselves to making others feel special rather than themselves. We have lost a great friend. But we will always have our memories and we are privileged to have had them. I am so lucky to have known the unbelievably amazing Scott Dumont. We love you Scott.

Scottie, I still can't believe that what happened on Friday is real. Someone as full of life and love as you were is a gift that should not be taken from the world so young. However, your spirit, kind heart and words, and gentle soul have made so many people better just for knowing you (I am one of them), and therefore you will never truly die. I know you will be taking care of all of us from Heaven now, so I'm sure you know how much you are loved and will be missed. Thank you for bringing so much light and love to so many people Scottie, I love you and miss you, and you will always be remembered.
