Scott McNulty Obituary

CAMBRIDGE -- Scott R. McNulty, 41, a Lowell native and a resident of Cambridge, who was a chef in the Boston area, died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 3, in Cambridge.

He was born in Lowell, Oct. 28, 1964, son of Robert McNulty and his wife, Lou Ann and Sharyn Whalen and her companion, Hector Berube. He graduated from Lowell Public Schools and the Lowell Vocational Technical School. He attended Middlesex Community College and the Fort Lauderdale Culinary Arts School.

Mr. McNulty he had been employed as a chef by several Boston area restaurants and hotels.

Besides his father, stepmother, mother and her companion, he is survived by four sisters and a brother-in-law, Kim and Roger Caruso, Erin L. McNulty, Tara M. McNulty, and Blair D. McNulty.

He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Raymond and Sheila McNulty, Daniel and Dianna McNulty, Al and Cathleen Carmichael, Patricia Baron, Paul and Mary Christian, Josephine Ziola, Donald Sequeira, Frances McNulty and Donna McNulty; and many cousins and friends.

He was also the nephew of the late Paul McNulty.

Scotty, From the day we met, me riding my bicycle down Middlesex St. The very day I moved from Zona. We made a connection that lasted many years. From Middlesex St. To Salisbury beach we would always have a laugh. So save me a seat up there and I will see you on the other side Kid.

I just read today about Scott. I am truly sorry Sharyn for your loss. He was such a handsome man. His suffering/pain is now over and resting peacefully in Heaven. If ever you need me, please don't hesitate to call. May God Bless and give you and Hector strength in the days ahead.
