Hi, Ruth - I am very sorry to read about Tom's passing. I am not sure if you remember us but Tom and my father Peter McHugh were great friends at the Courier and we used to see Tom when we accompanied my father when he was going in on Saturday mornings. He used to play hangman with us. We also met you on occasions when you came by 114 Turnpike Road, Chelmsford. I'll let Peter and Ronnie know.

Best regards,
Dennis McHugh

Sharon and Ruth,
I am sorry for your loss. My mother Rosemary and my sister Faith always spoke so highly of Tommy Sparks. I wish I'd gotten the chance to know him. It always sounded like he was good at spreading joy and laughter and wit. He will be in good company in heaven. I will be sending prayers and wishes for peace and blessings to your family and to Tom.

Dear Sparks Family, Wanted to let you know you're being thought of and how much I appreciated my friend. He was like a Dad to me growing up and after that a friend still. I'll always remember our golf outings and was grateful my son could later be a part of that. Will keep him alive in my memories, Tony DeMoura

Ruth,
We just heard about Thomas' passing. We had met briefly at Bayberry when my dad Ben and Thomas were residents and we would talk with them in the dining area. Thomas was a nice person. Our thoughts and prayers are with your whole family.

Ruth & Sharon:
I was so sad to hear of Tom's passing today and I am sure that Ann had a few words for him as he passed through the pearly gates! I didnt know Tom very well- but I have fond memories of the times he visited 9th street when I was there- bursting into the house- such a handsome man...shoeless with shorts on, and always a smile on his face. Although I wish the 9th Street crowd were still with us- its comforting to know there is alot of banter and laughter going on in heaven today- one of the things I miss the most from the loved ones I have lost is the laughter- things dont seem as funny these days. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sharon and Ruth
Tom was a gem - a brave,funny man who
made me happy every time I saw him-
He had a lot to contend with but he had
the grit and strength to work through it - a very sp4cial guy whom I will miss even though I've been far away for a long time. Bless him.
