CHELMSFORD - Atty. Timothy J. Ervin, 48, a longtime resident of Chelmsford passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital following a courageous battle with Gastric Cancer. He was the loving husband of Kristen (Richard) Ervin of Chelmsford with whom he shared 22 years of Marriage. He was the adoring father to Ryan, Christopher and Lauren all of Chelmsford.

Born in Melrose on August 31, 1969, he was a son of J. Thomas and Anne M. (Anderson) Ervin of Billerica.

Tim was educated at Suffolk University. In 1994 he earned his JD after graduating from Suffolk Law School. He has been in practice at his Chelmsford firm Gallant-Ervin since November 2000.

An avid golfer, Tim was a proud member of the Nashua Country Club. He enjoyed playing tennis, fishing and playing hockey. His family was always first and he was happiest spending time with all of them. Being a father to his three children was paramount and over the years he made it a priority to coach their sports teams whenever he could. He cherished vacations with his family and made so many wonderful memories over the years. He will be warmly remembered for his love of music and the way he lived his life well.

In addition to his wife, children and parents, Tim is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Thomas W. Ervin and his wife, Maureen of North Chelmsford, Steven L. Ervin and his wife Bianca of Jacksonville, FL; his father-in-law, Roger Richard of Billerica; brothers and sisters-in-law, Craig and Julie Richard of Billerica, Rebecca Richard of Lynn; his law partner and friend of 18 years, John Gallant of Chelmsford; many nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues and dear friends.

He was the son-in-law of the late Anne-Arlene Paschal and brother-in-law of the late Tanya Richard.

ERVIN - Visitation will be held in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 4 until 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11 AM in St. Mary Church, 25 North Road, CHELMSFORD. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, CHELMSFORD.
