Tracy Kassin Obituary

Tracy E. Kassin
March 15, 1960 - May 17, 2016

DRACUT, MA -- Tracy E. Kassin (Kelley) of Dracut, MA, a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous two year battle with cancer.

Tracy was a lively and beautiful spirit who had many interests such as being by the ocean, cooking, knitting and crocheting as well as working in her garden which was her pride and joy. She could easily spend hours in her strawberry patch and garden making her home a beautiful place to be. Most of all, she would go out of her way to help the elderly at her former place of employment. Even after a full day's work, Tracy would stay late and make sure that their needs were met as seeing them happy brought her joy. After a full week of work, Tracy still managed to find time to help her brother-in-law Joe recondition cars as a side job.

Tracy leaves behind her husband of 35 years (together 37 years), Richard J. Kassin Sr., her loving son, Richard J. Kassin Jr. and his fiancée Bonnie Foote as well as her daughter, Hannah Yates both of whom she loved dearly as a daughter and granddaughter and was grateful for their presence in her life. Tracy also leaves her brother Robert A. Kelley, her favorite sister-in-law Dorothea Belanger and her husband Joe, Dorothea's three daughters Holly, Dawn and April who were all very special to Tracy and were loved dearly by her. Tracy leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that are too numerous to mention. Please know that she loved you with all her heart and was grateful for each and every one of you.

There are so many things we could say about Tracy. Everyone that knew her can say that she always put everyone and everything else before her and touched their lives with love, hope and happiness through her acts of selflessness. Even in sickness she still managed to reach out to others and lend a hand, ear or shoulder to cry on.

May Tracy be in heaven among the angels because she was and is the best angel I ever met, loved and had the pleasure of marrying. Rest in peace my love. We all hope and pray that we will be reunited with you again in heaven, now that you have shown us the way.

Love forever

Rick & Family,
I was so sad to hear of Tracy's passing. It seems like yesterday that we all worked together. Tracy had an amazing work ethic and always put her residents first by visiting with them or helping them and clearly, everyone loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with you Rick and your family. She will be missed by all.
