SHIRLEY - Victoria A. (Lopez) Roche, 54, of Shirley, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, January 25, 2018, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer.

Vickie was born in Groton, May 12, 1963, a daughter of the late Raymond R. and Lieselotte J. (Roth) Lopez and was a lifelong Shirley resident.

She was a 1981 graduate of Ayer High School and continued her education at Mt. Wachusett Community College in Gardner where she majored in communications.

For 34 years Vickie worked as a dispatcher for the Town of Ayer Police Department. She was a dedicated supporter of the Ayer Police Department and their community and charitable efforts.

She had attended United Church in Shirley and participated in their choir.

She leaves her husband of 15 years, Stephen M. Roche; two brothers, Tony Lopez and his wife, Donna, of Lunenburg, Bertram Dean-Lopez and his wife, Christina, of Spencer; a sister, Patricia McCarthy of Shirley. She also leaves her dogs, Lena and Jackson.

ROCHE - Vickie's family will receive family and friends from 2-5 Sunday, January 28th at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., (Rte. 2A) Ayer. Please see wwww.andersonfuneral.com for additional information.
