I am home in Heaven, dear ones, Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty in His everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illuminated every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me in that way so hard to tread,
and with Jesus' arm to lean on, could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still,
try to look beyond Earth's shadows, pray to trust Our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand;
do it now, while life remainethyou shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!

Ever since we left Holy Trinity for South Dakota, Walter never missed sending us the weekly parish bulletin and wrote notes. He also sent us the opawki to include us in the Polish tradition. He was close to us like family and as we told him we will have Masses said for him and include him in our daily Rosary. God bless you, Walter, and we will not forget you in our prayers.

Thank you, Walter for all that you have done for Holy Trinity. I will always remember the good times we had working Bingo, and for all those cards you have sent to the kids with the $2.00 bills stuck in them. We still have those cards... and some of the bills. You will be sorely missed. Our condolences to the family. Rest in Peace, Walter, you have earned it.

Walter was a dear friend and taught me that working hard can be a joy and a life expression. Working was not just to get paid but rather a way to relate to others and bring joy to their lives. He brought me on the inside was I was on the outside as a 7th grader. I am now 41 yrs old and there is not a day I don't think about Walter and all he has done for me. I love you my dear friend and may you rest in peace with God. My deepest sympathy to your family and friends. I love you Walter.

Walter was a loving and compassionate man. Even over the many years and geographical separation we never lost contact. During the Christmas season "oplatek" was always in the mail to help us celebrate the Polish tradition of Wigilia.
Walter will be truly missed by all. May he rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
