Zachary Gys Obituary
LOWELL -- We lost our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend on July 19. Even though our time with Zachary was cut short, he is and always will be in our thoughts. Our hearts are heavy with his loss. Rest in peace, dear angel.
Zachary was born on August 18, 1991. He is survived by his loving mother, Louise Griffin and father, Michael Gys; his brother, Nicholas; his sister, Taylor; his maternal grandmother, Madeleine Griffin and his paternal grandmother, Jean Gys; his step father, David McInerney and step mother, Susan Doherty. He is survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he deeply loved.
GYS -- RELATIVES AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND HIS FUNERAL MASS ON FRIDAY, JULY 26 AT 11 A.M. AT HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 30 GRAFTON ST., LOWELL. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY. Dearest Zack,
The dreaded day is fast approaching. It's been eleven years....it seems like an eternity. I hate this day so very much.
I hope you know how much I wish this was merely a nightmare and tomorrow I will awaken to your text that tells me that you are OK.
I have so many happy memories of when you were a little boy and as you grew older so many of those endearing qualities manifested in the young man that you became. Until.....
Zack, there are so many memories that I will forever treasure and hold them deep in my heart. I know we share a forever bond that can never be broken apart.
I wake everyday with an ache in my heart. I miss you every second, every minute, every hour of every day. I miss your voice and your beautiful smile and would give anything, if I could have you back for just a little while.
Dearest Z, until I see you again, I will look to the heavenly sky and search among the stars for you, my son, my precious baby boy.

It´s been 9 yrs my Friend, & I still think about you all the time. I heard our song the other day & it brought a tear to my eye... I miss you so much Kid! Zack... U were my best friend and u looked out for me from the moment we met! U made it ur own personal mission to protect me and I thank u for that.
