Doctor Umolu and I met years ago and had one thing in common -I’m from Albany New York where he did his residency at Albany medical college. We became fast friends-I had not heard from him -I had a feeling something was terribly wrong and I just now saw his obituary- I’m deeply saddened. He loved a song I sent him years back-auld Lang syne by Mairi Campbell. I can’t believe I missed his final goodbye -I hope I can get his final resting place info so I may visit and bring flowers. Tony was kind and generous and always laughed. He had a great laugh. Ann Rood

When my daughter was little, a dog bit her on the lip. Dr. Umolu stitched her up. He did a beautiful job, no further plastic surgery necessary. We felt traumatized, but I distinctly remembered that Dr. Umolu was confident, kind, reassuring, and made us feel like everything would be OK. Thank you Dr. Umolu! We are forever grateful, and will remember you.

Sad to hear of dr umolus passing. He was my Dr years ago and also for my two sons. He was not only kind and caring but extremely intelligent. My background was an RN in a hospital setting. He was very good at diagnosing most diseases and illnesses.
He had an infectious laugh.
Godspeed Dr.
