Charlotte Ackerman Obituary
Charlotte M. Ackerman, 81, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in her home.
Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements.
She was born July 4, 1941, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Clarence and Nina E. (Wines) Walker. On Feb. 11, 1958, she married James Ackerman, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Roger Ackerman, Mark Ackerman, Scott Ackerman and Eric Ackerman; and two brothers, Clarence Walker and Rich Walker.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Peters and Shirley Walker; and three brothers, Ronnie Walker, Jimmy Walker and Steven Walker.
Charlotte was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking.
