You were a good guy, Chris. One of the few people I remember from school as always being a kind person. I'm not sure what else to say other than you will be missed. Condolences to your family while they cope with your absence.

I worked pretty closely with Chris from time to time. Just over a week ago he helped our team set up a viable API to move forward with large language models. He was an incredibly smart and resourceful member of the team. He could always be counted on to find a solution and get the job done.
I only got to hang out with Chris outside of video chats a handful of times, but I really enjoyed hanging out with him. He was a genuine, friendly, fun, and hilarious guy. Attached is a pic from when Chris and I were on the same tee at top golf in Cleveland.
Loss can be very difficult. I wish your family the best in this tough time. Chris was a great guy and he will be missed.

The first time I met Chris was at a work data offsite in the city that rocks-Cleveland. I had a busted leg and could only get around on crutches. While everyone else was hitting golf balls, I sat and watched. But Chris was there, making sure I had everything I needed. He was a true gentleman. We talked about life, our passions, and, of course, our dogs. Chris absolutely lit up when he spoke about Leo-his whole world.
Throughout my time with the company, Chris and I would chat on Teams about everything-life, basketball, and whatever was on our minds. He´d send me GIFs and remind me, despite being a Pacers fan, that he was rooting for a Celtics win. He had a way of connecting with people just by being his authentic self, and he touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
When I said my farewell to the company, I tried reaching out to him but couldn´t get in touch. Today, I learned the devastating news. My heart breaks for his family, friends, and those who never got the chance to meet him. Chris was a bright light, one that will continue to shine beyond his time here on Earth. Sending my deepest condolences to his family and all who loved him.
