Cindy Beck Obituary
Cindy Lou Beck, 60, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at 10:06 a.m. in her home.
A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements.
She was born Dec. 19, 1961, in Rochester, Minnesota, to the late Glenn and Marcella (Vrieze) Shipton. In Porter, Indiana, she married Louis Beck, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Gracie (Ben Janatik) Beck of Michigan City, Indiana, and Greta (Caleb Crawford) Beck of Westville, Indiana; stepdaughter, Alexandria (Matthew) Franks of Ohio; two grandchildren, Payton Franks and Christopher Franks; sister, Susan Shipton of Preston, Minnesota; two brothers, Robert Shipton of Spring Valley, Minnesota, and Eric Shipton of Preston, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
Cindy was the co-owner at Gene's Septic Service. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, making wine, spending time with family and friends and enjoying life.

My sincere sympathies to Cindy´s friends & family. I met her over 30 years ago while working at the Marquette Mall. I ran into Cindy about 12 years ago while she was shopping with her daughters one day & it wonderful to catch up . She was still the same sweet , kind Cindy. Peace be with all of you.

Cindy was the first person at Queens to help me out and show me the ropes as a new parent at the school. She was always there for all her friends, she was an amazing life force and I will miss her a lot.
