Claire J. Corbett, 88, of La Porte, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 13, 2026.
Born on Jan. 21, 1938, to Doris and Clifford Wells in North Dakota.
Claire was a faithful servant who dedicated her life to her family. She attended Faith Fellowship in La Porte and enjoyed her church family. She authored a children's book and enjoyed writing. She also loved to paint and crafted her own design on the cards that she would lovingly send out for birthdays and Christmas. She was dedicated to having an orderly home and always kept it tidy and clean.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her sons, Guy and Steve; and her daughter-in-law, Lucinda. She is survived by her children, Carol and Richard; and her grandchildren, Ariel, Ian, Abby, Julie and Guy Lee, who look forward to reuniting with her in Heaven. She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith.
Private burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
