Deborah Diane Darling, age 57, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born on July 25, 1964, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Russell and Lorraine (Dutcher) Darling, who preceded her in death.
Deborah is survived by her sister, Denice (Charles) Diab; two brothers, Danny (Linda) Darling and John Darling; four nephews, Nathan Darling, Charles T. (Rose) Diab, Cash Diab and Joshua Darling; four nieces, Kammie Darling, Cecalie (Jessica) Fort, Camile (Colton) Wishart and Cassandra-Jane (Sidney) Towers; great-niece, Janelle Darling; great-nephew, Ethan Darling; and many extended family members and friends.
Deborah graduated from Rogers High School in Michigan City. She worked many years as a cashier in local retail.
Deborah's family would like to thank the many members of her church family at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; the Relief Society, the Elders Quorum, and fellow church members for the kindness, the visits and many prayers shared with her.
Debbie was a devoted sister and aunt. She loved to bake and cook. She cared for her whole family. Anybody who knew her appreciated her warm smile and generosity.
The Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 402 E. Coolspring Ave., Michigan City, IN, 46360. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
