I was so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was a dear friend of my mother when we were all very young. She cooked wonderful treats and often shared them with us. Your mother gave my mom her recipe for grape leaves in the 70s, and because of their friendship, I added it to the family favorites recipe book I made after my mom's passing in 2015. I have thought of her many times over the years.
