Hildegard Mueller (nee Borkam) passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2025.
Hildegard (Hilli) was born on March 27, 1934, in East Prussia, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1967.
She was deeply loved by her family for whom she set the standard for goodness throughout her life.
Hildegard is survived by her husband, Wolfgang (Bill) Mueller; her daughter, Claudia; her son-in-law, Jeremy Goodridge; and her three grandchildren, Oscar, Felix and Celia Goodridge.
Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, 219-362-3100, is caring for the arrangements.
Hildegard's family thanks you for your kind wishes. Remembrances will be kept private.

I grew very fond of Hildegard during the short time I cleaned for Mr & Mrs Mueller.
She was as sweet as can be. I will miss her. Thoughts & prayers to her family & friends. Rest in peace
