John Bibb Obituary

John R. Bibb, 55, of Michigan City passed away peacefully at 3:49 p.m. at the Center for Hospice in Mishawaka.

He was born on Nov. 21, 1968, in Michigan City to John H. Bibb and Deborah Connor.

On Sept, 14, 1990, in La Porte, John married Melissa Staniszewski, who survives.

He enjoyed walking along the beach as well as walking his dogs, watching football, riding his Mustang, fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. John also loved taking road trips with his wife and he loved to enjoy his favorite Dairy Queen treat, Mr. Misty Freeze. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

Also surviving are his children, Wyatt Bibb, Sally Bibb and Maggie Bibb; brother, Jeff (Sue) Bibb; sister, Lorrie (Steve) Kraemer; two granddogs, Sage and Cudi, along with his family dogs, Thor and Daisy.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no funeral service, however cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held later next spring. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, 219-362-3100, is caring for the arrangements.
