Joseph Cihak Obituary
Joseph Neil Cihak, age 90, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away at home on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021. Born April 24, 1931, in South Bend, Indiana, to Anton and Theresa (Cecrle) Cihak, Joseph was an Indiana State Trooper from 1956 to 1976.
On June 17, 1978, he married Marsha Fuchs, who survives. Also surviving are Joseph's two children, Marcia Len (Dan) Studebaker of Portland, Oregon, and Dennis Craig Cihak (Michele) of Michigan City, Indiana; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were Joseph's parents; two brothers, Anton and Frank; and three sisters, Barbara, Ruth and Inez. Joseph was also preceded in death by Martha Adele Dugan, mother of Len and Dennis. Marsha Fuchs had a son, Steve Fuchs (Kimberly), who survives; and a daughter, Deborah, who is deceased.
A visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 10 a.m. at Mesa Baptist Church, 1411 Golf Course Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124.
