Michele A. Pabis, 68, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 11:45 a.m. in her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, Indiana. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, and from 10:15 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Queen of All Saints Catholic Church Legacy Center.
She was born May 24, 1956, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Anthony and Genevieve (Foldenauer) Malecki. On July 24, 1983, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Ned Dolson, who preceded her on Oct. 6, 1999, then on June 20, 2003, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Steven Pabis, who preceded her on Oct. 30, 2016.
Surviving are her son, Jeffery (Lisa) Dolson of Waverly, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Sydney and Hunter; four sisters, Joan (Peter) Edwards of Fargo, North Dakota, Sandra (Don) Butler of Michigan City, Indiana, Sharon Hagenow of Westville, Indiana, and Audrey (Paul) Hagenow of Stillwell, Indiana; three brothers, Ralph (Mary) Malecki of Wanatah, Indiana, Paul (Joyce) Malecki of La Crosse, Indiana, and Mark Malecki of Union Mills, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Antoinette Edinger and Sylvia Siegmund; and her brother, Theodore Malecki.
Michele had worked as a fleet operations coordinator in the trucking industry and was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana.
