Mr. Boyce and Sage´s Ice Cream are one of the best memories of my childhood. My dad started taking there there in the early 1960´s. I remember the hand mixed sarsaparilla , sherbets, holiday ice cream figures, and the famous 1 cent candy counter. To this day I still have occasional dreams of Sage´s and I am 63 yrs old. I own a very old glass bootle from Sages Bottling that I will never part with.
I would love to see a photo/s of the inside of Sage´s if anyone could share.
RIP Robert and thanks for the great childhood!

Memory: Always enjoyed the visits with Uncle Bob and Aunt Betty, at Sages, during my high school years at lunch. Uncle Bob, Aunt Betty, and Aunt Bell, would play tricks on me by leaving out the hamburger patty. Judy, the kids, and I, always enjoyed our Friday nights with them when we would visit them at the store. They always made sure to find a way to make us laugh and treated the kids with treats, never allowing us to pay for the kid's candy.
I am sorry for your lost and will be thinking of you on Monday.
