With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra "Sandy" Marie Wagner, born on June 28, 1938, in Michigan City, Indiana, who peacefully departed from this life on May 28, 2025, in Newnan, Georgia, at the age of 86. Sandy's spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched through her warmth, kindness, and passionate devotion to family and friends.
Sandy was not just a devoted mother; she was a radiant presence to all who had the privilege of knowing her. A gifted pianist, Sandy filled her home with beautiful melodies and laughter, often bringing joy to her family and those around her with her music. Her culinary talents shone brightly, especially when she cooked her cherished Chinese dishes, creating a sense of togetherness during holidays and family gatherings.
A devout Catholic, Sandy's faith guided her life, inspiring her to give generously of herself and forge deep connections with everyone she encountered. To her, no one was a stranger, and her compassionate heart extended to all in need. Her legacy of love and selflessness will forever resonate in the communities she graced.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her remarkable life, cherishing memories and stories that paint a picture of a life well-lived. The date and time of the service will be announced as we come together to reflect on Sandy's beautiful journey on this earth.
As we say goodbye to a wonderful mother, a talented musician and a generous soul, we find solace in knowing that Sandy now plays her eternal melodies in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she so freely shared with others.
Sandra "Sandy" was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wagner; father, Walter Spicka; mother, Minnie Spicka; and brother, Richard Spicka.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Frederick, Brenda Flannagan, Lisa (Duane) Lockwood, Michael Wagner and Susan (Keith) Stadtmiller; her brother, Ronald Spicka; grandchildren, Alesia Miller, Ashley Stoeckert, Anthony Frederick, John Frederick, Mark Frederick, Whitney Duffy, Megan Wagner, Travis Wagner, Mariah Pierce and Gabrielle Wagner; and great-grandchildren, Trent Miller, Eli Miller, Emmerson Miller, Landon Jarrett, Easton Jarrett, Jaxon Stoeckert, Palmer Duffy, Keagan Duffy and baby girl Pierce.
