My memories of Ardeshir go back to the 1980s when we worked as colleagues in the bean breeding program at MSU. Those were interesting and exciting times working on bean improvement projects of importance to farmers in Michigan. Unfortunately that ended for Ardeshir with the serious car accident in Okemos on return trip from the University of Missouri. The injuries he suffered as a result of that accident prevented him from returning to his research position at MSU. I wish to extend my sincere condolences to Roger and his brother on the passing of your father. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathies, James D. Kelly
