Arliss Jack Obituary

Arliss "Joy" Jack Lansing Arliss "Joy" Jack, of Lansing, passed away February 14, 2009. Arliss was born November 4, 1927 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Claude and Letah (Picket) Gould. She retired from Dart Container and expressed her artistic abilities through crafting and participating in Civil War competitions where she made dresses and various memorabilia. Beloved mother of Larry (Heidi) Martens of North Carolina, Lauri (George Hoch) Poole of Dansville, Sue (Mike) Reader of Perry, Lisa Wellington of Lansing, Melissa (Jeff) Cunningham of Florida, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sister of Lila Williams of Dimondale, Carol Kassouf of Lansing. Preceded in death by son Ric DeWilde, daughter Susan J. Martens, and brother Ralph Gould. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 17, 2009, 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge. Memorial contributions may be given to the Capitol Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48916. www.holihanatkin.com
