As memories of him flood through my mind, I realize Chris was such a monumental part of my life. He was one of the few great loves I have had in my short time on this planet. I will always cherish those memories, think of him and weep.

It's been some time since we last saw all of you. I never had the opportunity to meet Chris, but I beleive he was a wonderful son you and Bruce, great brother to Curtis and a fine grandson to your Mom. God has a special place for Chris and by the grace of God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through him our hearts will have comfort. God's blessings to you Nada and your family. Chris I miss you so much already. I will cherish every memory that I have of you. When we worked together I knew that I could always count on you to be there to help me out when I needed it. You were always thinking of others. You were an amazing father. Keep watch over that sweet baby boy.
My prayers go out to your entire family. I can't explain why God took someone so special from us but I know that he does everything for a reason. Chris was such a blessing on everyone he came in contact with. I will always remember his laugh and smile!

to the family of Chris Chaffee; mere words can never express the joy and calm we felt when Chris was working a shift, just as simple words cannot begin to express the deep sorrrow we feel with his passing.
My most sincere wish is that we all carry around a little piece of 'Chaffee' as we begin to heal. The impact Chris had on all of us (at the 'breeze') is the truest testament to the strength of his character, and that character must be a direct result of a good and solid up-bringing. Please rest assured with the knowledge that he was a well loved and well respected man. He has touched the lives of so many people, his legacy of kindness and friendship will live on through all of us.
Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful human being. Thank you for letting us get to know him. He'll never be forgotten.

We were very saddened to hear of Chris's passing. We have been out of touch for a lot of years...since the days of Surge soccer games...We really enjoyed Chris and your whole family and just want you to know how badly we feel. Bruce, Nada and Curtis,
Chris was the brother I never had, and I was so blessed to have him in my life. Through the hardest times, he was there. On the day my daughter Alice was born, he and Noelle were the only family able to be with us. That is who he was. He would lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on whenever you needed it. I am so broken over the loss of him. As I go through the photos I have of Chris, I see how big of a part he had in the Hulliberger family. Summer vacations to Traverse City and Ludington, Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, family dinners, your son was a part of our family (the only boy!) and we all cherished him so very much. When Chris moved to Memphis, he became my backbone, my support, my everything. My daughter Ally and I love him with all of our hearts.
I know he is watching over all of us now, and I pray that London will know his daddy is with him always, and that he will grow up to be the man his father was.
I love you, Chaffee family. I love you, Chris.

Our family was so lucky to have known Chris. He was a very kind and loving man. We all have special memories of our times with Chris at our house. He touched all of our lives. He meant so much to all of us. May God help you in the days ahead. Chris lives on in his little son London. Bless you all.

Chaffee you were a guy that would always lend a helping hand with that one of a kind smile. It was wonderful to get to spend time with you telling stories about our sons. You were a wonderful father to London, and made his face light up when you were around him. You will be greatly misses but I am very thankful for the time that I was able to spend with you. Chris was a wonderful, outgoing, happy person. I hope that his memory will live on and his son will grow up to know just how great his dad really was. Chaffee was great guy. He was always smiling and one of the friendliest people that I have ever met. In Chris what you saw was what you got. He loved london and his face would light up just mentioning his name. He was a great team member and a good friend. He will be greatly missed here in Memphis and at Bahama Breeze!!
