Daniel Richard Jubb Jr.

Daniel Richard Jubb Jr. Dewitt 37 years old, passed away November 6, 2012 after a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. Born on July 30th, 1975 in Lansing, MI to Barbara Meyers and Daniel Jubb. Preceded in death by his beloved sister, Elizabeth Medina; Grandpa and Grandma Meyers; Grandpa Jubb; and numerous animals including 2 of his favorite dogs Beast and Brownie. He is survived by his loving wife, Jamie; son, Matthew; dogs, Zeus, Speedy and Duke; parents Daniel Jubb (Sandy) and Barbara Crull (Ross); brothers, Nick (Amber) Jubb, Nate (Stefanie) Jubb, Levi (Ashley) Jubb, Tyler (Erica) Jubb, John (Barb) Lowe and Josh (Addie) Lowe and sisters, Naomi and Alena. Danny was never one to let his illness stop him from doing what he wanted to do. He was an extreme hunter, known to many as the "Buck Master" and has many prized buck trophies that earned him the title. He was a hard worker his entire life, Dan started his own lawn business (Dan Jubb Lawn & Snow) in his early adult life; along with being an excavator and truck driver. He dedicated the last 2½ years to starting his own medical marijuana store (Compassionate Caregivers) when his health no longer allowed him to do the physical work he enjoyed. Danny also founded the family famous "Team Jubb Off Road" logo with his cousin Jer. Danny was big into his trucks and lord knows he had many from everyday trucks to mud bogging trucks, to sand dune trucks. He loved spending time with his family at Silver Lake Sand Dunes and climbing truck hill and showing everyone "How it was done". Danny will be greatly missed by so many people from family and friends to doctors, nurses and strangers. He touched everyone who he came in contact with and is an inspiration to all. A very special thank you to his nurse Carla Alverson, Dr. Honicky and Dr. Ely along with the rest of his great CF care team for all the love and support they gave him for many years. Donations can be made to the Humane Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Daniel R. Jubb. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on December 1, 2012 at the Dewitt VFW Post 671, 12250 Old US 27, from 4:00-8:00pm.
