I was a student at the Mid Michigan Academy for Martial Arts. I have a great respect and admiration for the founder of this school, Dan Timlin and his wife, Tammy. The curriculum they follow provided both physical and mental conditioning through martial arts training. I also experienced the social benefits of a core gtoup of athletes networked together. I post this in memory of and in gratitude to the founder and his great contribution to the world of martial arts.

Dan,on behalf of my wife and myself we will miss you terribly. For me,your leaving has been a shock that may never go away.I treasure the hours of conversation you and I had over the phone these last 15 years or so.I wish I had recorded our last call so I would always be able to hear your voice. But I can always recall the humor, the wisdom and the love for life you imparted to everyone you came in contact with. You are definitely a most unforgettable person.

Dan,we love you and miss you so much.

My only sibling is gone, I am the only one left of my immediate family. My brother led an amazing life despite his later health challenges. I will miss him terribly, he was the other half of my soul, growing up, knew the old memories and stories and could correct my faulty memory on some. We shared the victories and losses , sorrow and happy times when we were young. Life is so short, don't waste it on all the trivial garbage thrown at you. Relationships, not materialism and money, are the important things. "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brother, that you do unto me." I must write our story so we won't be forgotten even by the newer but distant relatives. So long my only brother, you fought the good fight, and it is your time to rest. I will miss you so much.
