Phyllis Ann Weaver, born on March 14, 1934, in Monroe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at Michigan House Senior Living in Riverview, Michigan.

As a devoted homemaker, Phyllis's life was characterized by her unwavering love and support for her family. She was an enthusiastic presence at every sporting event her children participated in, proudly cheering them on and fostering their passions. Her encouragement extended to her community where she supported her husband in his coaching endeavors.

Phyllis was a long-time member of Faith United Methodist Church in Trenton, actively participating in various roles. Notably, for over fifty years she coordinated funeral luncheons, the making of apple pies and showcased her sewing skills for the church bazaar, further illustrating her commitment to serving others.

Phyllis's legacy of love is carried on by her children: Jerry L. Weaver of Ann Arbor, MI, Michael R. (Candee) Weaver of Lake Worth, FL, and Judith A. Weaver of DeWitt, MI. She cherished her grandchildren, Emily (Eric) Unverzagts and Hillary Weaver, as well as her great-grandchildren, Noe and Elsie Unverzagts. Phyllis is also survived by her sister, Margie VanMeter, her brother, Ralph (Nancy) VanMeter, and many nieces, nephews, other loving family members, friends, and her cherished church family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, H.Gerald Weaver; they were married in Allen County, Ohio on September 18, 1955, parents, Lester and Ruby (Matteson) VanMeter, and her sisters, Dorothy VanMeter and Mary Ellen Ashman.

Friends and family are invited to honor Phyllis's memory during a Memorial Gathering on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM both at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton.

Phyllis will be remembered for her profound love, steadfast support, and vibrant spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
