Our beloved mother Sally A. Shrum passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 90, while surrounded by her family. She was born on September 20, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Evelyn Gallnitz. Sally was preceded in death by her husband Marvin and her sons Roger and James. She is survived by her sister Betty (John) Powell, her children Nelita Pietronec, Mike Shrum, Fred Shrum, Adam Shrum, and Marvin Guiher. Sally is also survived by her grandchildren Breanna (Salwan) Almusawi, Richard (Sara) Guiher, Robert, Marvin Guiher, Jr. Brianna and Brandon Guiher, Mike, Shannon and Amber Shrum, Adam K. and Adam M. Shrum and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. The funeral service will be held the same evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements will follow services, followed by an inurnment next to her dear husband at Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
