David Pizana Obituary

Pastor David H. Pizana Lansing Age 76, surrounded by his family, Pastor was called home to his Lord on December 12, 2011. Born April 13, 1935 in Crystal City, TX a son of Victor and Louise (Hernandez) Pizana. Pastor Pizana preached for many years and was ordained on September 12, 1991 in the Baptist faith. He was a founding member and past-president of the Mexican Patriotic Committee. He retired as a supervisor at Fisher-Body after 39 years of faithful service. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Rufina "Ruth" Pizana; 4 children, Victor (Teresa) Pizana, Jose "Joe" (Vita) Pizana, Daniel Pizana, and Amanda (Wayne) Pizana-Balcom; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Josefa Lopez and Quta Arambula; 2 brothers, Henry (Delia) and Alberto (Elizabeth) Pizana; and many other family members and friends. David was preceded in death by his son, David T. Pizana; grandson, Jason; and many sisters and brothers. Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Friday with services 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 17th in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with Pastor Arias Abel officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com
