David Russ

Lansing - Passed away June 28, 2018, at the age of 83. David was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 24, 1934, the son of Clinton and Helen (Greenawalt) Russ. He retired from AT &T in 1989 after 35 years. David was an active member in church activities, a former avid golfer, loved to play cards and was a very talented artist.

David is survived by his wife, Joy; children, Doug (Teri) Russ and Dianne Russ; grandchildren, Dan (Jaime), Erin (Jeremy), Caitlin (Charlie); great grandchildren, Carter, Kennedy and Victoria; cousin, Jo Gibson O'Mara; sister-in-law, Sandy Russ; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 46 years, Dorothy; parents; brother, Jack Russ; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jack Clark.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2018 at Shepherd of the Hills, 7740 W. St. Joseph Hwy., Lansing, MI 48917. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Shepherd of the Hills in memory of David.
