David Toomey Obituary

David Lee Toomey

David Lee Toomey, born to Simon and Vivian Toomey in Lansing, MI on September 18,1943, peacefully passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020 with God and his family by his side. Dave is survived by his wife Michele Arman of 23 years and four children Kelli Zussman, Simon, Adam (Sarah) and David. He is also survived by his siblings Gary (Marlene), Sandra Jorae and Edward. He is preceded in death by his sister Beverly (Robert) Borghi. He is Grandfather to Austin Turner, Zak Zussman and Oliver and Mae Toomey.

Dave was a career home builder and loved being on the job site. Most of all he loved being outside on the water, boating and fishing and in his younger days he enjoyed hunting. He was a devout MSU fan and always rooted for his home team. Dave was a beacon for his family and friends and provided a lifetime of support and strength to those around him. Dave will remain forever in the hearts and thoughts of those fortunate enough to have known him.

A service will be held in 2021 to celebrate Dave's life, which will be announced to family and friends at a later date.
