Donald Hudson Obituary

Donald Leroy Hudson Lansing Doctor Donald LeRoy Hudson age 57 of Lansing, MI, son of Susie and Archie Hudson of Hartford, CT peacefully passed away on March 3, 2011 in Lansing, MI. He was born in Hartford, CT on June 20, 1953. He served his country as a Air Force Staff Sergeant police officer and later as police officer in CT, lifeguard and youth minister. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic of Davenport, IO in 1989. Thereafter, he practiced chiropractic in St. Johns and Lansing, MI. His compassionate and caring treatment will always be remembered by his many patients and friends. This same compassion towards others was also demonstrated with his support of Eve's House, Lansing Rescure Mission and the Volunteers of America. He greatly enjoyed those around him and various forms of music. He had fond memories of playing with "The SOS Band." He is survived by three sons, Donald, Tracy of Hartford, CT and Jeremiah Hudson of Lansing, MI; a daughter Renita Knight of Hartford, CT; a long time companion Janet Cebuhr of Lansing, MI and fourteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Mint City First Free Methodist Church, 409 S. Whittemore St, St Johns, MI 48879 on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Donald Hudson Memorial Fund at the funeral service.

I first met Don several years ago and we have been friends ever since.For the last few years we have communicated by telephone almost every other night.He was always looking at the bright side of things and was always supportive of me and my pursuits right up until the end.His passing came as a shock to me.He was taken too soon.It will take some time for me to get over it but I know he is safely in GOD's hands.Peace be with his family.
